Description
The nearly fulll moon rises amid a forest of Saguaro Cacti west of Tucson, Arizona. The golden hour light near sunset casts yellow and orange hues onto the sides of the Tucson Mountains as seen from Tucson Mountain Park near Gates Pass. There are better plays to watch a moonrise then in desert mountains.
The Saguaro Cactus is considered the monarch of the Sonoran Desert in the American Southwest, and perfectly represents Arizona.
