Description
The band of the Milky Way backrops a pair of saguaro cacti near Tucson, Arizona. In the foothills of the mighty Santa Catalina Mountains Range, the glow from the lights of the city illuminates the landscape as the heavens above are filled with millions and millions of stars twinkling over the broad expanses of the desert southwest.

PHOTOGRAPH OR PAINTING?? If you are like me, most often I must search the description tab because your work contains such magic and depth that it dances with Nature! Chance, what a beautiful entry! The glimpses of beauty and historical narratives you weave in your description tabs make it difficult to leave your site.. Visiting your portfolio is much like taking a vacation into the desert, especially...into the DESERT NIGHTs!! MAGNIFICENT! Thank you for your glimpses that leave me breathless. Best to you In your aesthetic and certainly in this contest!...LF

Chance, I cannot get enough of your gallery. What a scene this is. I also collect cactus. The night sky matches my love for the desert. Wow. F/L.
