Rays of sunlight pour onto the Mazatzal Mountains of Central Arizona as seen from Tonto National Forest. The famed Four Peaks, the highest point of the mountain range, are nearby. A saguaro cactus stands in the foreground admiring the dramatic lighting conditions produced by a stormy atmosphere. This is proof that southwestern landscapes of the Sonoran Desert are not always sunny with blue skies, and the resulting effects can be incredible.
