Description
Car lights on the Catalina Highway (also known as the General Hitchcock Highway) snake toward the lights of Tucson, Arizona as the last glow of twilight remains. Seen from Windy Point Vista. Thimble Peak in the Santa Catalina Mountains can be seen in the foreground ,and the Quinlan Mountains and Tucson Mountains can be seen off in the distance.
The Windy Point Vista offers one of the best scenic views of Tucson and is a great stop along the ascent of Mount Lemmon north of the City. The streak of headlights winding through the canyon is formed by a long exposure photograph.

Thanks so much Jim. I was too, literally.. it is called Windy Point for a reason (fortunately, I got a sturdier tripod for Christmas)..

Beautiful night photography! Love the lights of the highway across the silhouette of the mountain.
